He was predeceased by: his parents, Erma Spangler and Robert Spangler (Bob); and his siblings, Wayne Spangler, Jerry Spangler, Tim Spangler and Doris Hirsch.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Spangler; his brother Loyd Spangler (Sue) of Norfolk, NE; his children, Shaun Spangler (Lisa) of Arthur, NE, Amy Triplette (Roger) of Brule, NE and Tonia Heath (Toby) of Julesburg, CO; his grandchildren, Joe Boggs, Tessa Triplette, Taylla Nein (Michael), Brenna Triplette, Terrance Heath, Jacei Spangler, Lane Wood, Kelsey Buechle (Beau) and Ansley Wood; and his great grandchild Thia Nein. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial has been established for a High School Rodeo Scholarship.
