He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Koester and Rose Koester (Salber); and his grandson Drake. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie J. Rice of Ogallala; his children, Cindy Koester Fremont and Greg Koester (Josie) of Gibbon; and his siblings, Charles, Ed and Geraldine. He is also survived by four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in Bob's memory for later designation.
