He was predeceased by: his parents, William Caraway and Ethel Caraway (Chapman); his children, Russell and Robin; his wife Audrey Caraway; and his grandson Joshua Plack.

He is survived by: his children, Jill Plack (Ron) of Northglenn and Andrew Caraway of Ogallala; and his granddaughter Stephanie Prunk (Ryan) of Brighton, Colorado..
