He is survived by: his wife Patti Karg; his daughters, Ashley Vak (Jesse) of North Platte and Shelby McDowell (Preston) of Kearney; his grandchildren, Ryder Vak, Lydia and Elsie McDowell; and his siblings, Vikki Gehring (Andrew Hout) of Ohio and David Allen of Ohio.
