He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Elmshauser; his children, Dean Tickle (Diane) of Loup City, Rodney Tickle of Hastings and Rachelle Warner (Doug) of Elm Creek; his grandchildren, Jason Tickle (Meghan), Kristen Tickle, Joe Tickle (Brianna), Megan Warner, Luke Warner, Reed Thiefoldt (Jess), Celeste Wulf (Scott) and Sara Greer (Galen); his great grandchildren, Samantha, Elizabeth, Aaron, Andrew, Clara, Scarlett, Eddie, Drake, Rebecca, Miles, Caitlyn and Liam; his brothers, Harold (Carol) of Alexandria, VA, Gerald (Freddie) of Cozad and Marvin (Bobbie) of Laguna Beach, CA; and also Rene Engel (Rich) of Holdrege. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial has been established in Mel's memory for later designation.
