Melvin Chestnutt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Chestnutt of Ogallala, Nebraska, who passed away on May 24, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rueben A. Chestnutt and Mary A Chestnutt (Mitchell); his wife Marian Forell; his son Steve; his siblings, Ivan, William, Bernard, Josiah, Zelda Lindsey, Irma Chestnutt and Lois Bowman; and his daughter-in-law Sandra.
He is survived by: his children, Yvonne L. Long (Mark) of Martinsville, IL, Rocklynn E. Chappell of El Campo, TX, Tamara K. Haggard (Michael) of Lincoln, NE, Brenda L. McGinty (Mike) and Eldon Chestnutt (Jane) of Emerson, NE.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
