Maurice Lee Staples Obituary
The memory of Maurice Lee Staples of Ogallala, Nebraska, who passed away on March 11, 2025 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert "AJ" Staples and Rosella Staples (Mendenhall); and his siblings, Donald (Nita), Kenneth, Jimmie Staples, Nadean Chandler and Jeanette Magnuson (Oren).
He is survived by: his wife Gladyth Wiseman; his daughter Karen Cochran (Rondell); his grandsons, Levi (Tammy), T. J. (Krista) and Zane (Colette); and his stepgrandsons, Shawn (Jeannine), Shane (Whitney) and Shadd (Amber). He is also survived by his loving great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the GracePoint Church (2612 W A St, Ogallala, NE 69153).
