With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of LaVonne Jean Gake of Ogallala, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claus Franzen and Ruby Franzen; her sisters, Irene and Gladys; and her brother-in-law Lloyd.
She is survived by: her husband Lloyd Gake; her brother Maynard; her children, Cheryl Yarkosky (John), Terryl King (Norm), Michael Gake (Joy) and Mark Gake (Terri); her grandchildren, Samantha Cadarette (Kyle), Kathryn Yarkosky, Claire Gake, Paige Gake, Aiden, William and Lincoln Gake; and her great grandchildren, Kaysen and Parish Cadarette.
Memorials can be made to the Gering Meals on Wheels program or Brookestone Hospice.
