It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kent Rundback of Ogallala, Nebraska, born in Paxton, Nebraska, who passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Rundback and Mary Rundback (McClain); his grandson Jason Rundback; and his brother Morton Rundback. He is survived by: his wife Orla Mae Melgaard of Ogallala; his children, Roy Rundback of Ogallala and Brenda Rundback of Loveland, CO; his daughter-in-law Jana Kallsen; his grandchildren, Brad Rundback and Stacy Reynolds (Blake); his great grandchildren, Braxton and Brody; and his brother Larry Rundback (Cathy) of Coeur d'Alene, ID.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established in Kent's memory for later designation.
