He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Ruser and Edith Ruser (Struckman); his sons, Mark, James and Steven; and his siblings, Dick Ruser and Pat Saathoff.
He is survived by: his daughter Dawn; his wife Shirley Ruser of Ogallala; his children, Candi Harms (Myron) of Kalispell, MT and Todd Ruser of Kansas City, MO; and his grandchildren, Eric, Amy, Heather, Autumn, Katie, Jaclyn, Jennifer and Johnny. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial has been established in Ken's memory for later designation.
