She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rudolf Ebers and Lilli Ebers (Wachtmann); her husband Larry; her brothers, Erwin and Werner Ebers; her sons, David Erlewine (Sherry) of Ogallala, Terry Erlewine (Toni) of Sacramento, CA and Stephen Erlewine of Marysville, CA; her grandchildren, Stacia Townes (Shawn), Ada Erlewine and Troy Erlewine; her great grandchildren, Alex, Aurora and Makenna; and her siblings, Inge Stier of Roseburg, Germany, Rudolf Ebers of Gresham, OR, Heinz Peter Ebers of Portland, OR and Lore Holscher of Ogallala. She was also cherished by many other relatives and friends.

A memorial has been established in Kathe's memory for later designation.
