He was predeceased by: his parents, Telesforo Garcia and Genevieve Garcia (Sawyer); and his siblings, Linda, Clofus, Lois, Dick and John.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Garcia; his sons, Tom Garcia and Jeff Garcia (Sherri); his sister Carlene Whitlock (Matt); his grandsons, Gavin and Garrett Garcia; and his pet Pepper. He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
A Memorial has been established in Jerry's memory for the Ogallala High school Trap team.
