With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Rumer of Ogallala, Nebraska, born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on December 20, 2020 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean Rumer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend J. Willard Scott and Mildred M. Scott of Fort Morgan, Colorado.. She is survived by: her husband Tony M. Rumer (Tony); her children, Tammy Varilak, Ladonna Rumer and Michael M. Rumer; and her stepdaughters, Debbie Skoglund and Patty Kimmie. She is also survived by bird watching, caring for animals.
Due to Covid-19, there will be a private service for immediate family only at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Oshkosh.
In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations to Wel-Life Assisted Living in Ogallala.
