She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell F. Lindgren and Mae M. Lindgren (Reeb); her former husband Bernard James "Jim" Vasa Jr.; her granddaughter Marcella Grace Cook; her brother Russell Forrest Lindgren; and her brother-in-law Otis Williamson.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Krajewski of Ogallala; her children, Bernard James "Jamie" Vasa III (Sherry) of Petersburg, TN, Carolyn Cook (Lonnie Fourhman) of Shrewsbury, PA, Justin Krajewski (Jodie Mitchell) of Spearfish, SD, Jody Krajewski-Lay (Brian) of San Diego, CA and Jason Krajewski of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Alexandra Leavitt (Richard) of Hyrum, UT, Garrett Vasa (Matracia) of Dupree, SD, Madison Vasa of Providence, UT, Phillip Cook (Jess) of York, PA, Cassidy Cook of Baltimore, MD, Lilly Cook of Centerville, Graceann Cook of Shrewsbury, PA, Caden Mitchell and Justine Mitchell of Spearfish, SD; her great grandchildren, Evangeline Vasa, Evelyn Cook, Brynley Cook and Madison Joy Cook; her sister Marilyn Williamson of Grand Island, NE; her siblings-in-law, Sally Lindgren of Oregon City, OR, Bonnie Willey-Husmann (Ernie) of Chappell, NE and Bill Vasa of Ogallala; and her pets, Will and Kate. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in memory of Jean for later designation.
