With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Guy W. Bechtel of Ogallala, Nebraska, who passed away on May 31, 2023 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Guy W. Bechtel to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Elwin and Zata Lenore Bechtel (Smith); his wife Bonnie Jean Caudy; and his siblings, Arthur, Lester, Helen Hetrick, Isabel Bolton and James.
He is survived by: his children, Kerri Anderson (Lane) of Lemoyne and Terry Bechtel (Geraldine) of Brule; his grandchildren, Lana Bechtel, Mark Bechtel (Sherry), Hunter Anderson (Trisha) and Lindsey Krab (Tim); and his great grandchildren, Sydney, Keala Bechtel, Wiley, Weston Krab, Everly and Eloise Anderson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ogallala Public School Foundation or the Perkins County School Foundation, causes that were close to Guy's heart.
