She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Dressler and Lena Dressler (Harms); her husband Ralph Elmshaeuser; and her sisters, Alice Russell, Irl Cole and Karen Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Elmshaeuser (Adela) of Ogallala, Kent Elmshaeuser (Sue) of North Platte, Hal Elmshaeuser (Mary) of North Platte and Jo Elmshaeuser of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Jake Elmshaeuser (Teri), Jenifer Fischer (Lynn), Lance Elmshaeuser (Barbie), Rianna Elmshaeuser, Aaron Elmshaeuser (Elisa), Ben Elmshaeuser (Whitney), Amy Helgeson (Chad), Dustin Jorgensen (Lisa), Rafael Weisheit (Gale) and Zachary Giles; and her siblings-in-law, Roy Elmshaeuser, Lawrence Smith and Lorna Carey. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
