He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank L. Svoboda and Anna Svoboda (Beck); his siblings, Don Svoboda and Rosanne Hannah (Svoboda); his wife Anne; and his children, Terese Svoboda (Steve Bull) of New York City, Amy Svoboda (Don Andrews) of Lincoln, Katy Hunt (Stuart) of Silver Spring, Jane Svoboda of Lincoln, Patrick Svoboda (Camille) of Ogallala, Mary Svoboda (Brian Perkinson) of Chicago and Jerry Svoboda (Andrea Fisk) of Portland, Oregon. He was also cherished by 18 grandchildren.

Memorial donations are suggested to the ARC of Nebraska in Frank's memory.
