He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Sanders and Pearl Sanders (Jacobsen); his wife Evangeline "Vannie" Reed; his former wife Martha; and his siblings, Vernon "Buster", Earl, Grover, Jack, Leona, Viola, Fern, Ruby, Annie and Margie.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Hamilton (Roger) of Gallatin, TN, Philip Sanders (Sandra) of Potter, NE and Joel Sanders (Debra) of Ogallala; and his grandchildren, Joshua Hamilton, Sara Morse (Kevin), Nicholas Sanders and Alyssa Sanders. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
