With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elaine Gretschel of Ogallala, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Elaine left this world on February 23, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Anderson and Virgie Mae Anderson (Pinkston); her daughter Vicki; her son-in-law Allyn Sutton; her siblings, Delores Bryant, Bonnie Harms (Bernie), Carlene Spangler (Wayne), Bill and Larry Anderson; and her brother-in-law Ron Frickey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michele Sutton of Ogallala and Wendy Christensen (Rex) of Keystone; her grandchildren, Tara Sutton, Quinn Sutton, Alyse McEvoy (Jason), Teeyl Sutton, Darin Makovicka, Jana Thomas (Andy) and Dane Christensen; her sister Sharon Frickey of Ogallala; and her sister-in-law Shari Anderson of Ogallala. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in memory of Elaine.
