He is survived by: his sister Edna Jenkins (Latschar); his wife Doris Petersen of Ogallala; his siblings, Virginia Bates of Blue Rapids, KS, Patricia Peterson of Battle Lake, MN, Delma Baker (Rodger) of Hansen, ID, Jerry Schuhs (David) of Olpe, KS, Charlotte Nutter (Garry) of Littleton, CO and Lois Moore (Jarrel) of Jerome, ID; his children, John Jenkins of Boulder, CO, Mark Jenkins of Costa Mesa, CA, Brian Jenkins (Lori) of Kearney, Jill Max (Steve) of Ogallala and Julie Stokes (Greg) of Sidney; his grandchildren, Lexi, Joshua, Hannah, Devon, Logan, Collin, Miranda, Stephanie (Jon), Amber (Don), Conner (Rachel), Jade, Jonathon, Taylor, Natalie, Samantha and Jessica; and his great grandchildren, Elliana and Augustus.
A memorial has been established in Don's honor, and is kindly suggested to the New Hope Church in Ogallala.
