He was predeceased by: his parents, Rinehart Eichner and Mayme Eichner (Braesch); and his son Gregory Donald Eichner. He is survived by: his wife Mary Eichner of Ogallala; his children, Terri Hoover (Calvin) of Paxton, Sister Pat Eichner of Concordia, KS and Tim Eichner (Becky) of Scottsbluff; his grandchildren, Vince Hoover (Katy) of Ogallala, Dan Hoover (Carly) of Littleton, CO, Miranda Doremus-Reznor (Tyler Clark) of Soledad, CA, Mariah of Scottsbluff, NE, Elliana of Scottsbluff, NE and Emma Eichner of Scottsbluff, NE; and his brother LaVern Eichner (Connie) of Ogallala. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or The Keith County Senior Center in memory of Don.
