He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilton Padgett and Vauni C. Padgett; his brother Frederick; and his father-in-law Ronnie Frickey. He is survived by: his wife Tammy of Ogallala; his son Nathan Padgett; his grandsons, Dustin Owens and Bradley Coyne; his foster sons, Ricky Beck, Timmy Copper and Clarence Alspaugh; his grandchildren, Korbyn Herrick, Braeylee Herrick, Nathan Padgett and Bentley Luebbe; his sister Lynette Fowler; his stepmother Margaret Padgett; his stepbrothers, James J. Parker IV (Maryann) and William Eric Parker (Colleen); his mother-in-law Sharon Frickey; and his siblings-in-law, John Frickey (Katie) and Candace Troxel (Ben). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-neices and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the New Hope Building Fund in Darrin's memory where he was a member.
