He was predeceased by: his father Theodore "Ted" Sutton; his sister Beverly Sutton; his nephew Isaac Stevens; his father-in-law Roy Elmshaeuser (Clarice); and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Stevens and Vicki Elmshaeuser.
He is survived by: his mother Ferne Sutton (Dollison); his wife Michele of Ogallala; his daughters, Tara Sutton of Ogallala, Quinn Sutton of Ogallala, Alyse McEvoy (Jason) of Ogallala and Teeyl Sutton of Ogallala; his grandchildren, Neve, Owen and Bryn; his siblings, Cindy Stevens of Pine Ridge, SD and Terry Sutton (Tammy) of Commerce City, CO; and his sister-in-law Wendy Christensen (Rex) of Keystone. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established in Allyn's memory for later designation.
