He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mason of Odell, NE; his brothers, Arlin Koch (Marlys) of Wymore, NE and Gary Koch (Teresa) of Odell, NE; and his nieces and nephews, Tim Koch of Daykin, NE, Troy Koch (Mindy) of Odell, NE, TeriAnn Zimmerman (Austin) of Wymore, NE, Alex Koch (Makayla) of Odell, NE and Jenna (Andrew).

A memorial fund is established to Cancer Research at the University of Nebraska Medical Center or the American Diabetes Association.
