He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver F. "Pete" Heidbrink and Dorathea K. G. Heidbrink (Mitchell); his wife Carol Heidbrink (Suppiger); his brothers, Dennis and Russell Heidbrink; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Bowers.
He is survived by: his sons, David Heidbrink (Connie) of Beatrice and Mark Heidbrink (Lisa) of Lincoln; his sister-in-law Susan Bowers of Fairbury; his grandchildren, Jenni Bernhardt, Tara Hanshaw (Frank), Kacie Heidbrink and Miranda Heidbrink; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Bryce Bernhardt, Blake and Brant Hanshaw. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
