He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Jacobs, Sr. and Fern Mae Jacobs (Short); his wife Dove Annette Jewett; his siblings-in-law, Nadine Basse, Charles Basse, Clyde Shaw and Robert Swanson; his daughter-in-law Carol Jacobs; and his great grandchildren, Clara Knepper and Penelope Feeley.
He is survived by: his sister Jean Swanson; his children, Dan Jacobs of Oakland, NE, Roger Jacobs (Josephine) of Columbia, SC, Tom Jacobs (Lori) and Jodi Simmons (Dale); his grandchildren, Carie Jones (Jason), Travis Jacobs (Sarah), Ashley Knepper (Nick), Austin Jacobs (Hillary), Katherine Ammann (Chris) and Meredith Feeley (Chuck); his great grandchildren, Wilson, Davis and Steele Jones; and his grandchildren, Mason, Ruby, Violet, Charlie Jacobs, Elliott, Norah, Amos, Junia Knepper, Jack and Conrad Jacobs.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Evangelical Free Church (821 Fulton Ave, Oakland, NE 68045). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
