He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arvid Johnson and Verena Johnson; his wife Roberta Joan Stewart; his children, Jacquelyn, Stewart, Jill, Rena, Ryan (Jodi) and Jodi; and his family, Jacquelyn Friedrichsen (David), Stewart Johnson (Susi), Jill Peterson (Reynold), Rena Worth (Todd), Ryan Johnson, Michelle Miklos and Jodi Palensky (Matt). He was also cherished by his six children and spouses, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, as well as by many adored nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church (201 N Davis Ave, Oakland, NE 68045).
