He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Pearson and Anna Pearson (Young); his wife DeLoise Gatzemeyer of Joseph's Catholic Church; his brother Stanley; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Pearson, Fran Gatzemeyer, Erma Gatzemeyer, Loren, Patrick, James, Dennis Gatzemeyer and Kent Bunderson.
He is survived by: his children, Doreen Fullington (Jerry) of Fremont, Dan Pearson of Oakland and Chuck Pearson (Verniline) of Oakland; his granddaughters, Cherokee, Kristina, Chloe, Zoey and Skye; his brother Kenneth Pearson (Billye) of Oakland; and his siblings-in-law, Myra Bunderson of Oakland, Janiece Gatzemeyer of Omaha, Nancy Gatzemeyer of Bancroft and Gary Gatzemeyer of Bancroft. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
