He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Okoye and Agnes Okoye; and his siblings, Evelyn, Magnus, Donald and Mercy.
He is survived by: his wife Naomi Neufeld; his children, Amanda Okoye (Kali McCarthy) of New York City, Cynthia Carter (Rickie) of Fontana, CA, Dacia Okoye of Los Angeles, CA and Brian Okoye; his grandchildren, Adalyn and Alayah Carter; and his brother John Okoye of Cleveland, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are to the family to help with medical expenses.
