It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen L. Dent of North Platte, Nebraska, who passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stephen L. Dent to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dent, Jr. and Maxine Jennings; his stepfather Bill Jennings; and his brother-in-law Roger Dillon. He is survived by: his siblings, Janice Dillon, Michael Dent and Nancy Rudeen (Keith); his nieces and nephews, Tracy Huff (Rich), Mary Dillon, Jennifer Dent, Charlie Rudeen (Ashton) and Dane Rudeen; his uncle Robert Jackson (Valarie); and his pets, Lily and Heidi. He is also survived by great-nieces/nephews; cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the North Platte Animal Shelter to honor Steve's love of animals.
