He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald and Dorothy. He is survived by: his spouse Cynthia Burris; his sons, Justin Ostendorf of North Platte, Shawn Ostendorf of Lincoln and Jeremy Ostendorf of Council Bluffs, Iowa; his grandchildren, Sonia Marie, Ethan and Ava Ostendorf; and his sisters, Donna Hilderbrand of Colorado Springs, Jan Mehl (Butch) of Crete, Bonnie Rector (Tom) of North Platte, Pat Miller (Phil) of Cody, Tammy Menghini (Trevor) of North Platte, Mindee Mohr (Mike) of North Platte and Cindee Wright (Tracy) of Little Rock, Arkansas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and his friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to be used to help other families with A.L.S.
