He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbet W. Jaenicke and Ellen V. Jaenicke (Driefholt); his parents-in-law, George and Opal Yanken; his son Steven Jaenicke; and his sisters, Marlene Lunkwitz (Derl) and Linda Haller (Phil).
He is survived by: his wife Delores Yanken of Connor's Diner; his daughters, Christie Copper (Richard) and Cindy Wheeler of North Platte; his grandchildren, Amy Sabatka (Adam) of North Platte, Justin Copper (Alicia) of North Platte, Natasha Delso (Kenny) of Curtis, Matthew Wheeler (Samantha) of Broadwater and Nathen Wheeler (Whitney) of North Platte; and his siblings-in-law, Darlene Shaw (Bill), Joe Yanken (Vernita) and Dale Yanken.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carpenter Memorial Chapel (1616 W B St, North Platte, NE 69101). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to the family for future designation.
