He was predeceased by: his parents, Catalino Vasquez and Josephine Vasquez (Perez); his son Phillip Jr.; his granddaughter Janet Beranek; and his siblings, Frances, Caroline, John, Leu and Mike.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Boyer; his children, Lew Sr. Vasquez (Julie) of Paxton and Josephine Beranek (James) of North Platte; his grandchildren, Jason Vasquez (Tia) of Cleveland, OH, Lew Jr. Vasquez (Joann) of Paxton and Justin Vasquez (Jamie) of Topeka, KS; his great grandchildren, Mary, Sara, Emma, Caden, Keeley, Reece, Miley and Micha; his siblings, Lucita Goodnight of North Platte, Vern Vasquez (Wanda) of Cheyenne, WY and Catalino Vasquez (Nancy) of Sutherland; and his sister-in-law Ruby Vasquez of Scottsbluff. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
