She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnulfo Sanchez and Socorro "Cora" Sanchez (Saldivar); and her siblings, Hank Sanchez, Albert Sanchez, Alex Sanchez, Esther Guerra and Jessica Polanco.
She is survived by: her husband John Serrano of North Platte; her sons, John Serrano of Evans, CO, Craig Serrano of North Platte and Paul Serrano of North Platte; her grandson Isaiah Serrano of Lincoln; and her siblings, Rosie Castellanos of North Platte, Margaret Ramos of North Platte, Sam Sanchez of North Platte, Rick Sanchez of Grand Island, Ofelia Leyva of Grand Island and Chee Ree Perez of Grand Island. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
