He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion and Leora Wood; his sisters, Lori Nelsen and Frances; and his great-nephew Bryce Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Burson; his children, Gregory Wood (Jeni) of Lincoln and Jessica Bishop (William) of Post Falls, ID; his grandchildren, James Breedlove, Andrew Wood and Aubrey Bishop; his brothers, Donald (Claudia) of Texas, Kenneth (Coleen) of North Platte, Jim of North Platte and Chris (Christine) of North Platte; and his pet Miss Molly. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore (302 S Sycamore St, North Platte, NE 69101).
