It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorin H. Woltemath of North Platte, Nebraska, who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Woltemath and Esther Woltemath (Mahler); his former wife Betty Jo; his wife Marian; his stepdaughter Lori Jahnke; his sons-in-law, Jim Bain and Scott Tabke; his sister Louise Braun; and his brother-in-law Walter Braun.
He is survived by: his friend Marian Jahnke; his children, Beth Sedlacek (Lynn) of North Platte, Vicki Tabke of North Platte, Rev. Doug Woltemath (Karen) of Atkins, IA, Michelle Bain of North Platte and Chad Woltemath (Heidi) of Saline, MI; his stepchildren, Bruce Jahnke, Sandra Jahnke and Brian Jahnke; his grandchildren, Tony Sedlacek (Christina), Amber McConville (Brad), April Dilley (Brian), Molly Harm (Josh), Kadie Stokowski (Adam) and Kenzie Brown (Jarrod); his brother Lyle Woltemath (Gini); and his sister-in-law Bonnie Ward (Bert).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adams & Swanson Funeral Home (421 W 4th St, North Platte, NE 69101). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (1400 East E Street, North Platte, NE 69101). A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fort McPherson National Cemetery (12004 S Spur 56a, Maxwell, NE 69151).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church or The Lutheran Hour.
