He was predeceased by: his parents, Naomi Hartnett (McClay) and Bluford Hartnett; his stepmother Nadine Hartnett; his wife Jeanette Hartnett; and his sister Vicky Laehn.
He is survived by: his significant other Jo Bay of North Platte, NE; his children, Luke Hartnett (Carie) of Kansas City, MO, Ashley Hartnett of Topeka, KS, Holly Hartnett (Jarod) of Salina, KS and Jo's; and his grandchildren, Jason Ottis (Mary), Amber McKay (Kevin), Harrison Haines, Roenan, Darby, Raef, Franki, Pax Haselhortst, Madelyn, Nora Ottis and Avery McKay.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home (320 2nd St SW, Plainville, KS 67663). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church -Plainville (206 N Washington St, Plainville, KS 67663). A burial will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
