With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jo Ann Michaels (North Platte, Nebraska), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jo Ann Michaels to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Powers and Emma Powers; her siblings, Hollis Miller, Margie Mora, Ruth Soto, Randie Powers, Kenneth, Donnie and Leo Powers; her grandsons, Jason Heldstab, Joey Lipinski and Bodenn Snyder; her daughter-in-law Sandra Decker; and her friend Byron Michaels.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Mora of North Platte, Herbert Decker of La Cygne, KS, Tod Heldstab (Mindy) of Bismarck, ND, Sherry Coon (Gary) of Papillion, Bobbi Brouwer (Mark) of Galena, IL and April Schroeder (Scott) of Pierre, SD; and her brothers, Larry Powers of North Platte and Tommy Powers of Clearwater, FL. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and many other family members.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore (302 S Sycamore St, North Platte, NE 69101).
