He was predeceased by: his parents, James O. Moore and Laura Moore; his brother Robert; his brother-in-law Kelly; his son-in-law Alvie Robinson; his grandson TJ Moore; and his pets, Saddles of Hods, JJ, Coco, Sissy and Buddy Ray.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Cupp of North Platte; his children, Peggie Robinson of North Platte, Pennie Martinez (Matt) of Sutherland, James Moore (Sheryl) of Hershey, Jackie Moore (Nettie) of Columbus, OH and Johnnie Moore Sr. of North Platte; and his sister Frances Kelly of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren.

“I will always cherish all the memories of Uncle James. From spending weekends with him, aunt Betty, and all my cousins. He taught me so many things from softball to hunting and fishing. He was always willing to spend time with us. I also remember some scary moments when I had to take a shower in the basement of his house in Laurelville. Uncle James I will really miss you but I will never forget you. You are my favorite uncle and you always called me on my birthday. Love, Dennis”
