It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey Brott (North Platte, Nebraska), born in Madrid, Nebraska, who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Brott, and Henry Brott, Sr.; and his siblings, Harry, Henry Jr. (Shirley), Walter (Norma), Reinholt, John (Marion), William (Donna), Leo (Twila), Marvin (Lillace), Rosie Powell (Cyril), Esther, Lilian, Caroline and Katherine Stuehm (Ronald).
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Douglas Brott (DeAnn) of North Platte, Shelia Mahler (Brian) of North Platte, Barbara Larsen (Kent) of Minden and Jill Lamp (Rod) of North Platte; his grandchildren, Shelby, Alex Larsen, Lauren, Landon Brott and Noel Terry; and his sister-in-law Ethel Brott.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Odean Colonial Chapel (302 S Sycamore St, North Platte, NE 69101). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church (402 S Baytree Ave, North Platte, NE 69101). A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorials are to the family for later designation.
