With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fay Herndon of North Platte, Nebraska, who passed away on March 3, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Herndon and Velna Herndon; his wife Linda Bartman; and his brothers, Homer Lee, Del and Harold.
He is survived by: his children, Todd Herndon (Alisha) and Karen Herndon (Alan Sullivan) of North Platte; his grandchildren, Taylor, Gunnar and Harper; his brother Joe Herndon; and his sister-in-law Jane Herndon of Gothenburg.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore (302 S Sycamore St, North Platte, NE 69101). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore Tuesday (302 S Sycamore St, North Platte, NE 69101). A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Moorefield Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the donor's choice.
