He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jean Gibbs; his son James Nicholas (Mindy) of Hershey, NE; his grandchildren, Mira White, Olivia Nicholas and William Nicholas; his siblings, Mary Kaschke (Orville) of North Platte and Charles Nicholas (Claire) of Alvord, Texas; and his nieces and nephews, Brenda Granger, Tami Kaschke, Harold, Brian Grandy and Brad Nicholas.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carpenter Memorial Chapel (1616 W B St, North Platte, NE 69101). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harvest Christian Fellowship Church (1501 S Dewey St, North Platte, NE 69101).
