He was predeceased by: his parents, John Golden and Gladys Golden (Attebery); his sister Rosaline Welch; his children, John Golden and Connie Schiel; his grandson Tyler Golden; and his great grandchild Lola Schiel.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen Hoban; and his children, Billy Joe Golden of North Platte, Jodell Shantz (Tim) of Omaha, Sugar Thiessen (Jac) of Omaha and Lilana Golden (Mike Kelly) of Omaha. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 6 great great-grandchildren and other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are to the new North Platte Community Build Playground.
