It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene Richardson of North Platte, Nebraska, born in Gothenburg, Nebraska, who passed away on October 10, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Arlene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert McKain and Nettie McKain (Erskine); and her husband Rex Richardson. She is survived by: her children, Tom Richardson (Paula) of North Platte, Ron Richardson (Nancy) of North Platte, Christina Fisher of Cheyenne, WY and Michael Richardson of North Platte; and her sister Ruth Pokorny of Bellevue, NE. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to First Presbyterian Church in North Platte.
