She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Gaughen and Mayme Gaughen (Krause); her sister Joan Emanuel; and her brother-in-law Dennis Emanuel. She is survived by: her husband H. William Peters (Bill); her daughter Sarah Peters (Lawayne Svehla) of Elwood, NE; her grandchildren, Sean and Hannah Kassmeier; her sister-in-law Maxine Bray (Vern) of Fremont, NE; and her close friend Susan Emanuel of Lincoln. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
