It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeanene Westerman of North Bend, Nebraska, who passed away on January 23, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Dunker and Agnes Dunker (Gaughen); her husband Wes; her siblings, Jerry Mohr, Roberta Freeman, Virginia Paden and Gilbert Dunker; and her great grandchild Dionne Striplin.

She is survived by: her children, Pam Kabourek (Jim) of David City, NE, Virginia Sue Bosco (Bart) of North Bend, Jeanene Lambley of North Bend, Bob Westerman (Jan) of Lincoln, NE and Tom Westerman (Tamara) of Scribner, NE. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

During Covid, she hosted porch parties to help others with the isolation created by the pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the North Bend Volunteer Fire Dept of North Bend or the Nebraska Kidney Association.
