He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Happel and Amelia Happel (Eilers); his son Randy Happel; and his son-in-law Norman Poppe. He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Happel (Aden); his daughter Kay Poppe of North Bend, NE; his sister Lucille Stone (Marvin) of Kearney, NE; and his granddaughters, Kim of North Bend, Natilee of Lincoln and Beverly of Boone. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
