He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ellen Hartmann (Nick) and Donald V. Hartmann; his brother David; his parents-in-law, Thomas and Nancy Ferguson-Staley; and his stepfather-in-law Norb Staley.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Ferguson; his children, Jennifer Eberly (Grant) and Kevin Hartmann (Shala); his siblings, Teresa Hartmann Frazier, Ellen Hartmann, Rita Phillips, Sharon Neill (Tim) and Dallas Hartmann; his granddaughter Kennedy; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Emanuel (Roch) and Kevin Ferguson (Janet). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
