He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Kavan and Emma Kavan (Hines); his brother Raymond Kavan; his daughter Kimberly Kavan; and his sister Wilma Mares.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Webster; his children, Greg Kavan (Kris) of North Bend and Kathy Kavan of Omaha, NE; his sister Vlasta Kavan; his sister-in-law Rhoda Holstine of Fremont, NE; his grandchildren, Eric Kavan (Jenna), Brad Kavan and Emma Kavan; and his great grandchildren, Hattie of North Bend and Cohen Kavan of North Bend. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
