She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Bender and Carol Bender (Wray); and her husband Buzz. She is survived by: her daughter Kristin; her son-in-law Mason Thorley; her grandchildren, Sofia, Krishan, Kolton, Sydnei and Merrick; and her siblings, Karen, Virginia, Gail, Bobby and Richard. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
